MPBR PAST PRESIDENTS NOVICE SINGLES & OPEN PAIRS – 2023

You are invited to submit entries for the Open Novice Pairs and Open Novice Singles competitions conducted annually by the
Peninsula Group, Bowls Past Presidents Association. Please Note: Entries close strictly on 19th Feb 2023.
The following eligibility conditions apply:
1. A Novice Bowler may be a male or female person who is a registered Bowls Victoria affiliated member and is affiliated with the
Peninsula Bowls Region (plays in the MPBR).
2. A Player who has played for less than two years qualifies under the rules of the competition. Therefore, a player eligible for entry in
this year’s competition MUST have commenced bowling after 1st May 2021.
3. A Novice Bowler who has previously been a winner of either of the Bowls Past Presidents Association Novice events is ineligible to
compete again.
4. A Bowler who has won any Club or Division /Region Championship event, or an event which gives the player “Masters”
status is not considered to be a Novice and is therefore ineligible to enter.
